The ResurFX Laser is my favorite! It is a non-ablative laser so there is little to no downtime with great results. The ResurFX uses heat to stimulate the growth of collagen which improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, over all skin texture and pigmentation. You can start to see results with just one treatment but we recommend 3-4 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, for maximum results. Once you finish the series of treatments you can maintain the results with one treatment per year.
Myself, and many of my patients, have extremely busy lifestyles and can’t afford to take time off from work and life to have ablative laser treatments that require 5-7 days of aftercare. With the ResurFX Laser you can expect to be back to your regular schedule the very same day. Most people have a “mild sunburn” appearance for 1-2 days following treatment. There can be some mild swelling as well but nothing major. We recommend staying out of the sun for a few days post treatment and, as always, wear your sunscreen!
