FAQs About CoolTouch CT3 Plus
What is CoolTouch CT3 Plus?
The CoolTouch CT3 Plus laser treatment, known as CoolBreeze™, is the “gold standard” of care for wrinkle reduction, acne and acne scarring. The laser’s heat gently stimulates the tissue, which triggers a repair mechanism, and your body begins to rebuild and replenish your own natural collagen without injury to the skin’s surface. Results are achieved from the inside out! As new collagen is produced, your skin begins to look softer and younger.

What improvement will I see for Wrinkle Treatment?
Patients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Many report an improvement in both skin tone and texture and describe how fine and deeper lines become less visible and begin to disappear. Improvement is achieved with a series of treatments resulting in collagen enhancement.
What improvement will I see for Acne Treatment?
You will notice significant reduction of acne and improvised appearance of acne scars. Unlike other acne therapies that address bacterial symptoms only, the CoolBreeze laser treatment targets the source of the acne. The laser energy is applied in gentle pulses over the treatment area. The energy penetrates deep enough to shrink oil glands and decrease their capacity to produce acne without affecting the oils necessary for healthy skin. Your body also rebuilds and replenishes your own natural collagen to fill in acne scars.

How many treatments are recommended?
The average number of treatments is 3 to 5 performed over a period of 2 to 4 months. During your consultation you will be advised as to the number of treatments recommended to achieve your desired results. Occasional touch-up treatments may be suggested to maintain or continue your improvements.

What does a treatment feel like?
CoolTouch CT3 Plus laser treatments are quick and easy, and typically take less than an hour. Patients typically feel a warm sensation and see a blush or redness in the treated area for an hour or so following the treatment. Best of all, with no downtime after treatment, you can apply make-up and resume your regular activities immediately.

FAQs About Microneedling

Microneedling is an amazing breakthrough in skin care that yields amazing results quickly with almost no downtime. Microneedling’s nine precisely spaced micro needles create tiny perforations in the top two layers of the skin. The skin shifts its repair mechanism into high gear, producing collagen and elastin to mend these micro-perforations. This is a 100% natural form of skin renewal, repairing from the inside out. Your skin will be firmer and regain its elasticity, so fine lines and wrinkles become visibly reduced, pores are smaller, and you look younger.

What results can I expect from Microneedling?

What areas are typical for Microneedling treatments?
The forehead, around the eyes, cheeks, around the mouth, neck and chest are treated most often, but Microneedling can be used on problem areas like surgical scarring to reduce prominence.

FAQs About Permanent Makeup

Permanent Makeup*
Natual pigments implanted into the skin to enhance eyebrows, eyes and lips

Microblading (Permanent Makeup)*
Microblading uses a hand-held tattoo pen with a unique blade to create very fine, precise hair strokes for the eyebrows.

What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent Makeup, also referred to as micro-pigmentation, is a process where completely natural pigments are implanted beneath the top layer of skin, into the second layer of skin. This technique has been medically developed and uses pigments specially formulated for cosmetic application. Not to be compared with traditional tattooing, in which permanent skin dyes and inks are placed into the skin.

Who Chooses Permanent Makeup?
Everyone from the young to the elderly, who desire a natural enhancement to their appearance. Women or men who have uneven, sparse or no eyebrows due to over plucking, aging, Chemotherapy treatments or Alopecia Areata. Women who find it difficult to apply makeup due to arthritis, tremors, paralysis, multiple sclerosis or vision limitations. Anyone who is allergic to conventional makeup. Women with an occupation that causes perspiration requiring makeup to be reapplied often. Women who have ultra-sensitive eyes, wear contact lenses, have sparse lashes.

Does the procedure hurt?

The level of discomfort varies according to each individual's pain threshold. Topical anesthetics are used to numb the area and minimize discomfort. Most clients describe a pricking sensation.

Is it safe?
Allergic reactions to permanent makeup procedures are extremely rare. The cosmetic pigments are made from completely natural ingredients, and disposable sterile needles and surgical gloves are used for each procedure. However, micro-pigmentation is a skin invasive procedure. It is important to consult an experienced professional technician who is licensed, qualified and conscientious.

How long does each procedure take?
Times vary according to the individual's sensitivity, hydration, density, elasticity, and overall condition of the skin. Allowing time for anesthetics to take effect, implanting of the pigment, and some final fine tuning of the procedure, average time for the initial visit is as follows: 1 + hours for eyeliner1-2 hours for eyebrows.

How many appointments will be necessary?
Four to six weeks after the initial application, a follow-up visit may be required to perfect the lines or add additional colors. This visit does not require as much time as the initial procedure.

What procedures are offered?
The most common areas are: lip liner, eye liner, eye shadow, eyebrows, and areola tattooing.

Is Permanent Makeup truly permanent?
A variety of factors influence the longevity of Permanent Makeup. Ultra-violet exposure from sun or tanning booths, various drugs, excessively dry skin, and smoking are all factors that may affect this. Alpha- hydroxy, Retin-A, and glycolic acid must be kept away from treated areas. These kinds of substances slough away top layers of the skin and eventually the layer that the pigment has been implanted into. Use of these kinds of substances will require additional maintenance in years to come. Sun block on eyebrows and sunglasses for eyeliner will greatly prolong the effective life of these procedures.

FAQs About Endermologie/Cellulite Treatment

What is cellulite?
Cellulite is deposits of fat and other material trapped in pockets of connective tissue beneath the skin. It causes progressive dimpling, also called “orange peel” or “cottage cheese” appearance of the skin. About 90% of women are affected by it, after they reach puberty.

Why are women prone to develop cellulite?
Women’s skin is built differently than men’s to help them to store fat during pregnancy and breast feeding and also to allow the skin to expand during these times. When estrogen levels fluctuate in the body, the skin will retain fluid, connective tissue in the skin hardens, blood and lymphatic circulation is decreased, and fat cell storage is favored, causing the development
of cellulite.

What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is a non-invasive FDA cleared procedure, developed by LPG, using the Cellu M6 Keymodule machine, to temporarily, yet effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite and circumferential body measurements of treated areas.

What is an Endermologie Facial?
Facial Endermologie, from LPG, offers a natural facial workout, helping achieve facial fitness by mechanically stimulating the facial skin and its underlying structure. The treatment gives the underlying foundation of connective tissue under the skin a workout. Endermologie addresses the visible signs of ageing that occurs over time, such as: lines, wrinkles, sagging contours and dilated pores. The treatment helps to "lift" and correct these problems by mobilizing the connective tissue in the various layers of the skin to tone and firm the face and help defy gravity. It also stimulates blood circulation bringing more oxygen to the tissues and improving the radiance of the skin. This treatment is not included in Full Body Endermologie treatments, and is a standalone facial experience utilizing the Endermologie machine technology.

How does the machine work?
The Keymodule's small hand-held, motorized treatment head with specially designed rollers performs the Endermologie treatment. By gently lifting and rolling the skin the Cellu M6 Keymodule stimulates local blood circulation thereby reducing excess fluids. The treatment also smoothes the surface of the skin.

Does Endermologie really work?
Yes. Clinical studies from UCLA, Vanderbilt University, and many European Universities have proven results of the Endermologie machine. For more information on these studies, please visit LPG’s website, www.cosire-lpg.com

How long does a session last? Do you just work on my problem areas?
A session lasts for 45 minutes. The main focus of the treatment is directed to the problem areas, but the entire body must be treated in order to stimulate general circulation and elimination of broken up toxic matters. How many sessions do I need to start seeing results? Results vary for every person, however an average person starts to notice the changes after about 6-8 sessions.

How many treatments should I consider to begin with?
A series of 10 sessions would be a good start to achieve results. The first 6 treatments are suggested within a 2 week time period, the rest of the treatments should be received twice a week until desired look is achieved. After the desired look is achieved, a once a month maintenance is sufficient for most individuals to maintain their results.

Does the procedure hurt?
Rest assured that you are in the best possible hands. With your highly trained therapist, and the machine's capability of changing intensity, you won't need to be in pain. It is a non-invasive, relaxing treatment that involves no medical procedures or use of any chemical substances, creams or gels.

Can everyone receive the treatment?
No. It is not for pregnant women, or people taking blood thinners, people with circulatory or vascular disease, active cancer, and also with infectious progressive diseases, and AIDS. Should you have any other concerns; we recommend that you consult your physician.

Do I need to do anything to get good results?
Yes. Drink sufficient amount of water. You will receive information during your initial consultation on the amount of water your body needs.

What is the difference between ENDERMOLOGIE® and Liposuction?
ENDERMOLOGIE treatments are non-invasive and improve the appearance of cellulite. Liposuction is an invasive surgical procedure aimed at removing deep fat tissue from an area. Doctors often recommend ENDERMOLOGIE treatments in conjunction with liposuction.

FAQs About VelaShape III

What is VelaShape III?
® III is a non-invasive body contouring treatment. This treatment shrinks fat cells, smooths cellulite, improves circulation, and results in circumferential reduction. VelaShape uses infrared light which directly heats the targeted area. Bipolar frequency guides the heat for faster safe temperatures without damaging the skin and the vacuum elevates the target issue, bringing it closer to the energy source. Get the figure you've been dreaming of with a series of affordable treatments.

How many treatments do I need?
VelaShape III is completed in a series. The number of treatments vary depending on the desired results. Typically skin tightening/toning requires 3 to 4 treatments. Cellulite reduction typically requires at least 6.
When can I see improvement of my cellulite?
You will begin to notice gradual improvement of the treated area right away as your skin's surface starts to feel smoother and firmer. Over time you will also notice a smaller circumference through the treated area as well as a reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Best results will be seen at around 10 weeks.
Are there any side effects?
The VelaShape III treatment is safe and effective for all skin types. The treatment works with heat therefore the treated areas skin temperature will rise. You may experience a bit of tenderness and may slightly bruise post treatments.
Are the results permanent?
Following your treatment regimen, it is recommended that you receive maintenance treatments every 2 to 3 months. Like all techniques, invasive or non-invasive, results vary depending on the physical condition of the skin and body. Results will last longer if you follow a balance diet and exercise regimen.
Can I have tanned skin?
Because your skin is being heated it is best not to have a new tan. When you tan your skin is dry and damaged therefore adding heat to it can cause further damage. You should also not be spray tanned due to the spray clogging the machine.
